Hosting & Server Logs
Our website is hosted on Squarespace. When you access the site, the hosting provider processes server log data (e.g., IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer URL, user agent, error messages) to ensure technical provision and IT security.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in a stable and secure service).
Recipient: Squarespace (hosting/website builder).
Retention: up to 30 days, then deletion/anonymization.

Cookies
We do not use consent-based cookies (e.g., analytics/marketing). If technically necessary cookies are used (e.g., session/security cookies by Squarespace), they serve only to provide our pages.
Legal bases: Sec. 25(2) TTDSG (strictly necessary device access) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact via Email/Form
If you contact us, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, email, message) to handle your request.
Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-/contractual) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (general inquiries).
Retention: typically up to 12 months after completion, or longer where statutory retention applies.
Recipient: email/IT service providers where applicable.

Processors
Where service providers (e.g., hosting/maintenance) access personal data, this occurs under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR).

Third-Country Transfers
As a rule, we do not transfer personal data to third countries. If, in individual cases, this is technically required (e.g., due to infrastructure used by Squarespace), transfers take place only under the conditions of Arts. 44 et seq. GDPR (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses/adequacy decision).

Provision of Data
There is no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data; without certain details (e.g., contact info) we may be unable to process your request.

General Retention
We delete personal data once the purpose ceases and no retention obligations apply.

Your Rights
You can exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

Automated Decision-Making/Profiling
Not performed.

Changes
We may update this notice if our services or legal requirements change.
